Punjab Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (PAMETI) organized a three-day training programme on “Digital Content Development for Mass Media”from July14-16, 2026. The training was attended by 34 participants.

Dr.K B Singh, Director, PAMETI welcomed the participants and shared about the role and importance of digital content.He told that where information spreads faster than ever, digital content or video has emerged as one of the most powerful tools to educate, motivate and connect with farming communities.

Various experts from PAU and GADVASU imparted practical knowledge and skill to the participants about digital content for social media, mobile app development, designing promotional flyers, video thumbnails, script writing and how to craft videos that capture and hold the attention of the farmers. Mr. Parv Kalia demonstrated the live session of podcasting with trainees and also tought about the editing skills after making the video. Mr. Navdeep Singh, Retired Head, All India Radio, FM also delivered a session on content creation for radio. The training concluded with certificate distribution and the vote of thanks from PAMETI.
